Dolores  E. Bertolet, age 75, passed away on February 27, 2010 at 2:00 AM in her home after suffering from a long illness.  She resided in Spring Township and is a long-time resident of Reading.

Dolores was predeceased by her  husband, Barry K. Bertolet, who passed away in November 2005; an only son, Brad K. Bertolet,  who died in January 1984; and her  parents Wilda J (Young) and Paul A. Moyer.

She is survived by a daughter, Karen S. Bertolet Stavarski, wife of Joseph A Stavarski, her only grandson, Derek J Stavarski, and her mother in law: Catherine M. Hoffman of West Lawn.

Dolores was a 1952 graduate of Reading High School.  She was employed as a Sales asssociate and model for the Dolores Dress Shop, Reading, PA, from 1960-1972, which was owned and operated by her mother, Mrs. Wilda Moyer .

Dolores encountered many personal tragedies in her lifetime including the death of her Mother at age 61 from cancer,  the devastating passing of her son, Brad, who was taken suddenly at the age of 27 from meningitis.  And lastly, the tragic loss of her beloved husband, Barry, during heart surgery.  

Dolores would want to be remembered as being happiest sharing her life with her beloved husband, Barry, her family and friends, and especially her grandson, Derek, who was and always will be her precious sweetheart.
