Certified Celebrants

What is a Celebrant?

A Celebrant is a person who is trained and certified to meet the needs of families during their time of loss. A Celebrant creates a personalized tribute service to reflect the personality and life-style of the deceased.

What does a Certified Celebrant do for the family?

  • Our Celebrants have been specically trained to design a service that is completely personal incorporating those unique stories, songs and experiences that defined the individual.
  • Our Celebrants will schedule a special Family Time for those closest to share memories of the loved one's life making the essence of the tribute service based upon the remembrances of the family.
  • Our Celebrants have a library of resources available for readings, music, ceremonies and personal touches. The Celebrant will consult with the family to help design a service that best reflects and memorializes the life of their loved one.
  • Our Celebrants will collect your family photographs and incorporate them into the service.

Can we use favorite music and poetry?

Our Certified Celebrants will work with you to create a custom tribute that can include favorite music, poetry, scripture, prayer and most anything you can imagine, wish or request.

Testimonials

Dear Mr. Bean,

I would recommend Bean Funeral Home to anyone. I especially commend Joseph McCullough, he is such a wonderful, caring person. Rick, my husband, hand-picked Joe after a Sunday Mass. I thank God I was standing near them that I Heard Rick say to Joe that if anything would happen to him that he wanted Joe to take care of him and his burial. We never dreamed that Rick would pass away so soon and suddenly. I can’t say enough for Joe, he took care of everything and anything I needed. I am so grateful that we met Joe through Patrick, his son, whom Rick loved very much. Patrick used to call Rick “Big Guy”. We recently moved to the Berks County area about 4 ½ years ago. We didn’t know too many places. I thank God for Patrick and Joe. We had people come from different parts of the state and everyone commended what a wonderful job Beans Funeral Home did with the service. You have a wonderful employee. Take good care of Joe, he knows what people want and need. You have a great asset in Joe.

Sincerely, Sue Baumann
