Albert A. Ash, Jr., 61, of Reading, passed away Monday, May 10, 2021 at 3:20 am in Reading Hospital. He was the husband of Cindy M. (Petersheim) Ash. Born in Reading, Albert was the son of the late Albert Allen Ash, Sr. and Audrey V. (Weitzel) Ash. He was a technician at Teletron Technologies in Douglassville until his retirement. Albert was a former secretary and member of Hampden Fire Company#6 and a member of Sill’s Campground in Adamstown. In addition to his wife Cindy, Albert is survived by his children Rodney A. Ash, husband of Dawn Ash of Allentown; Candice L. Fair, wife of Kevin Fair of Exeter Township; Alecia M. Ash of Mt. Penn; Janelle G. Ash, companion of Robert Mogel of Muhlenberg Township; Albert A. Ash, III, husband of Kirsten Ash of Reading and was preceded in death by his daughter Tonia Nicole Ash. Albert is also survived by 24 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren and his siblings Virginia E. Ash of West Reading; Robert R. Ash, Sr. of Reading; David A. Ash, husband of Heather Ash of Muhlenberg Township; Brian T. Ash, husband of Tracey Ash of Reading; Tracy L. McVeigh, wife of Frank McVeigh of Reading and was preceded in death by brother Daryl L. Ash.
Funeral Service will be held in Bean Funeral Home 1605 Rockland Street, Hampden Heights, Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at 11:00 am. Chaplain Keith Eshleman will officiate. Interment will follow at Berks County Memorial Gardens. The family will receive relatives and friends in Bean Funeral Home Monday, May 17, 2021 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm and Tuesday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
