Allen Bernard Rush

Allen “Pat” Bernard Rush, 88, of Shillington, passed away on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at The Reading Hospital. Born in Reading, Pat was the son of the late Frank B. and Alma M. (Miller) Rush.

Pat was employed as an HVAC service technician for most of his life, working for many years at Reading Merchants Oil Company. He was an avid train collector and long-term member of the Train Collectors Association.

Pat is survived by his daughters, Donna M. Miller (Tom Gutekunst), of Bethlehem and Lori A. Ruth (Keith), of Reading. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Ashley, Alex, Adam, and Luke.

Pat is predeceased by his sister, Frances Antosy.

A Celebration of Pat’s life will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at 11:00 AM, at Bean Funeral Home, 129 E. Lancaster Ave. Shillington, PA 19607. Amy Landis, Certified Celebrant to officiate. The family will receive relatives and friends at Bean Funeral Home, Shillington, on Tuesday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
