Barbara Brown

Barbara P. Brown, 82, of Shillington, passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at 12:18 pm at Reading Hospital.  She was the wife of Alfred R. Brown, Jr.   Born in New Haven, Connecticut, Mrs. Brown was the daughter of the late Joseph John Preiss and Mary Francis (O’Leary) Preiss.  In addition to her husband, Mrs. Brown is survived by her daughters Laura Jean Burkholder, wife of Dervin Burkholder of Sinking Spring; Elizabeth Anne Boltz, wife of Darwin Boltz of Jonestown and her grandson, Hunter Brown Johansmeyer.  She is also survived by her sister Patricia Pfingston, wife of Mark Pfingston of Evansville, Indiana; her niece Jeanne Collin, wife of John Collin of Waterbury, Connecticut and several additional nieces,  nephews and grandpups.  Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her sister Kathleen (“Cal”) Donnan.
