Barry Lloyd Miller

Barry Lloyd Miller 80, of Tampa Florida passed away peacefully on Tuesday April 8, 2025. He was the beloved husband of the late Barbara Ellen Miller, who passed away on June 7, 2024. Together they shared 47 years of marriage.

Born on May 6, 1944, in Reading, PA he was the son of the late Lloyd F. Miller and Miriam M. Miller (Hawkins).

Barry is survived by his brother Joel L Miller, husband of Jean Miller, of Wernersville, PA. and a niece Julie Miller of Shillington, PA.

Barry graduated from Reading High School in 1962.

Over the years Barry was employed at Pomeroy’s, Grosfillex, after moving to Florida in 1986 Barry retired in Florida working at Target. Barry also was well known to Avon community as a top sales Avon Rep in the district winning numerous Presidents Recognition awards which included vacation getaways for Barry and Barbara.

Barry was a well-known musician playing keyboard for Cascades and the Spadesman. Where he played at local clubs like Wellers Tavern and soloed at the West Reading Hotel.

Barry devoted his life to his church, playing the organ and singing in the choir for many years.

Memorial service for both Barry & Barbara will be held at Faith Outreach Church in Tampa FL for his church family and friends on Friday June 6, 2025 at 10:00 am

Another memorial service for Barry & Barbara will be held at Bean Funeral Homes 1605 Rockland Street, Reading, PA 19604 on Wednesday June 18, 2025 at 11:00am. Burial of the Urns will follow immediately after the service at the Laureldale Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends at the funeral home from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
