Betty Drobnick

Betty J. Drobnick, 89, formerly of Pottsville and Reading, passed away August 18, 2009 at 1:50 AM in Berks Heim where she resided since December of 2008. She was the wife of Rudolph B. Drobnick who passed away April 13, 2002. Born in Pottsville on July 24, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Irene (Dietrich) Smith.

She was a 1937 graduate of Pottsville High School and was a former member of Grace Alsace United Church of Christ.

Surviving are 3 sons Rudy A. Drobnick and his wife Carol of Muhlenberg Twp., Gary L. Drobnick and his wife Evelyn of Leesport and Richard S. Drobnick and his wife Morrisa of Oradell, NJ, 6 grandchildren Rudy, Michael, Jeffrey, Jason, Silver and Selena, 6 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister Mildred (Smith) Nagle.
