Betty J. (nee Deppen) Rosencrans, 80, of Shillington, passed away Friday, November 13th, 2009 at 10:55 p.m. at Berks Heim Nursing Center, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Alsace Twp., she was the daughter of the late Lloyd Deppen and Eva (Goho) Deppen.
She was the widow of Grant W. Rosencrans, who passed away in 1988.
She is survived by her stepsons: Grant W. Jr., Richard, David, and Harold all of the Pittston, PA area.
There are also twenty one step granchildren, and twenty seven step great grandchildren.
She is also survived by a sister: Loretta L. (Deppen) Huber of Shillington; a brother: Donald C. Deppen of Womelsdorf; and several nieces and nephews.
She was pre deceased by a step daughter: Joyce (Rosencrans) Redmond.
