Betty Zimmerman

Betty J. Zimmerman, 84, of Wyomissing, passed away March 24, 2011 at 9:05 pm in The Reading Hospital & Medical Center. She was the wife of the late John R. Zimmerman who passed away in 2007. Born in Ephrata she was the daughter of the late Oscar Carl and Mary Edith (Royer) Weaver. Mrs. Zimmerman was employed as a secretary at Wilson Safety Products in Reading, American Cancer Society in Watkins Glen, NY, St. Vincent's College in Latrobe, PA and a volunteer for Hospice in Melboure, Florida. She is survived by her daughters Dawn M. wife of Paul Vasko of Kutztown and JoAnn "Jody" wife of Gary L. Wolfgang of Coshocton, Ohio along with her grandchildren, who she was affectionately known as "Mumzie", Peter J., Paul A., Amanda J., Daniel J., Megan D., Andrew J., Emma A. and John J. Also surviving is her sister Carol Faye wife of Lee Schlenker of York, PA and several nieces and nephews.
