Brenton "Brent" J. Serfass

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Brenton “Brent” Joel Serfass, age 43, of Philadelphia, PA, on Monday, April 7, 2025 at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. Born in Bethlehem, PA, Brent was the son of Joel E Serfass and Deborah L (Turner) Serfass.

Brent graduated from Northampton Area High School in 2000 and earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from West Chester University. He practiced accounting in Bethlehem as well as in Philadelphia. He will be remembered by those who knew him best for his love of basketball and weight lifting, his great sense of humor and his love of family. He was a loyal and beloved older brother and a cherished son who touched the lives of all who knew him.

In addition to his parents Joel and Deb, Brent is survived by his siblings, Kimberly Duffy, wife of Nicholas, of Sinking Spring, PA, along with their three children, Stephanie Serfass, of Wyomissing, PA and Jeffrey Serfass, fiancé of Jenna Spatz, of Hamilton NJ.
