C. Michael Smith

C. Michael “Mike” Smith, 72, of Leesport, passed away on Monday, December 15, 2025 at his home, with his loving family by his side. Mike was the loving husband to Cynthia E. (Brady) Smith for over 49 years of marriage. Born in Reading, Mike was the son of the late, Charles E. Smith, and June (Reed). He was a graduate of Wilson High School and went on to work for himself in the construction industry. Mike was devoted husband and father who loved his dogs, cars and caring for horses.

In addition to his wife Cynthia, Mike is survived by his daughter, Rebecca Smith, wife of Matthew Kopecki of Bern Township, son, Matthew C. Smith, of Reading, and his grandchildren, Joran and Noah. He is also survived by his sister, Judy Gehr, of Reading and his nephews, Jeff Gehr and Troy Gehr.
