Carl Stegman Jr

Carl H. Stegman Jr., 85, of Flying Hills, passed away on Sunday, November 9th at 8:59 p.m. at home.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Carl H. Stegman Sr. and Laura J. (Kremp) Stegman, and husband of Annabelle Q. (Quigley) Stegman at home. They were married for 38 years.

He was a 1941 graduate of Reading High School.

He was a U.S. Army Veteran, serving during World War II, and served guard duty for the Nuremberg Trials.

He was a member of St. John's German Lutheran Church, and a member of the American Legion Gregg Post #12.

He worked as a vice president and general manager of Do-All in Reding for 12 years, retiring in 1985.

He was an avid golfer.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son: Bret J. Fake, husband of Cindy Fake of Exeter Twp. Grandsons: Justyn and Trevor Fake of Exeter Twp.; brother: Ernest F. Stegman of Reading

There are also two nieces: Antonia & Laura Ripley of Florida; Jonathan Stegman of Reading, Steven Ripley of Florida, and Peter Stegman of Virginia.

He was pre deceased by a sister: Myrtle L. (Stegman) Ripley.
