Carmen L. Cruz Cruz

Carmen Luisa Cruz Cruz, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, was born on January 16, 1966, in Ceiba, Puerto Rico. She passed away peacefully on December 25, 2025, in West Lawn, Pennsylvania, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. 

Carmen was a devoted homemaker who found immense joy in cooking and spending time with her family, particularly her grandchild. Her passion for music and dancing filled her home with warmth and happiness. Known for her kindness and generous spirit, Carmen would do anything for anyone, earning her the love and respect of all who knew her. 

She is survived by her loving spouse, Lino Alberto Cosme; her daughter, Melanny Gomez Cruz; her sons, Albert Omar Cosme Cruz and Lino Gabriel Cosme Cruz; her grandson Jadiel Nicudemos; her brothers, Hector Cruz Cruz, Jose Antonio Cruz Cruz, Rolando Cruz Cruz, and Edgardo Alvarez Cruz. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. 

Funeral services will be held on January 2, 2026, with a viewing at 4:00 PM and a formal service commencing at 7:00 PM. The family invites all who knew Carmen to join in celebrating her life and the many ways she touched the hearts of those around her. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of your choice in Carmen’s memory. 

Carmen was preceded in death by: her parents Jose Antonio Cruz and Sarahil Cruz, Her sister Awilda Cruz and her brother John Cruz.
