Carmen Helfrich

Carmen R. Helfrich, 88, of Cumru Twp., passed away March 26, 2009 at 4:28 p.m. at St. Joseph's Medical Center.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late David A. Stott and Emma E. (Printz) Stott, and widow of the late Edward G. Helfrich, who passed away July 12, 1994.

She was a 1937 graduate of Reading High School, and worked as a bookkeeper for various companies in the area, last working in 1948. She was a member of St. Luke's U.C.C. in Kenhorst.

She is survived by her daughter: Eileen D. (Helfrich), wife of Robert C. Rothermel of Cumru Twp.; and a son: Eric G. Helfrich of Reading.

There are also two grandsons: Hans and Adam, and three great grandchildren: Alexander, Ian, and Katherine.

There are also two sisters: Florence (Stott) Snyder of Warminster, PA and Margaret (Stott) Merkel of Kenhorst.
