Carol Ann Hester

Carol Ann (Tamm) Hester, 88, of Exeter Township, formerly of Philadelphia, passed away on Monday, September 7, 2026, at her home with her loving family by her side. She was the loving wife to James “Jim” L. Hester, for over 61 years of marriage. Born in Philadelphia, Carol was the daughter of the late, Ralph A. Tamm and Katie Cora (Graber).

In addition to her husband Jim, Carol is survived by her children, Alan S. Hester, husband of Heather, of Lumberton, NJ, Michele Lynn Wilbert, wife of David, of Exeter Township, Ralph J. Hester, husband of Sharon, of Otter, MT. She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.

A visitation for Carol will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2026, in Bean Funeral Home, 6 Fairlane Road, Reading, PA, 19606, from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM, a graveside service for will be held on Friday, September 18, 2026, at 9:00 AM at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newton, PA 18940.
