Carolyn Joy Grim

Carolyn Joy Grim, age 87, of Reading, PA, Berks County, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 15, 2025 at Spruce Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Michael John Grim. Carolyn was born in Reading, daughter of the late Frank Clark and Ethel Jacobs .

Carolyn attended Oley High School and worked as a restaurant manager for the former John Wanamaker’s department store.

She was predeceased by her son, Jeffrey S. Reinert. She is survived by her daughter Jeannine J. Readdy wife of Richard A. Readdy of New Holland and her grandchildren Richard J. Readdy of Delaware; Emily J. Aunio of New Jersey; Lindsay K. Harrison of Florida and her great granddaughter Caroline Harrison.

Carolyn will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her family and friends for her love and kindness.
