Charles Graeff

Charles J. Graeff, 89, of Muhlenberg Township, passed away March 27, 2009 at 12:04 pm in St. Joseph Medical Center. He was the husband of Mary H. (Himmelreich) Graeff. Born in Centerport, he was the son of the late Eddie W. and Florence M. (Miller) Graeff. Mr. Graeff was a terminal supervisor for Exxon Corp. USA in Reading for 38 years, retiring in 1982. He served in the United States Army during WWII and was a medic in the 9th Armor Division. He was a member of Alsace Lutheran Church. In addition to his wife he is survived by a son Brian H. husband of Sandra Graeff of Charlton, Mass. and a daughter Karen A.G. wife of Gregory Bohn of Muhlenberg Township along with his grandchildren Christopher C. Graeff and Stephanie B. Bohn. He is also survived by his sisters, Sara Moyer of Reading; Fayne Hartman of Reading and Lois Parzanese of Reading.
