Charles John Secoges Sr.

Charles John Secoges Sr., 83, of Cumru Township, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 11, 2024 at the Reading Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Joan A. (Sacco) Secoges. Together they shared almost 57 years of marriage. Born on May 2, 1940, in Pottsville, PA, he was the son of the late John Secoges and Mary (Zemond) Secoges. Charles was a graduate of Nativity B.V.M. High School, Class of 1958. He served proudly in the United States Air Force. During his life, he was employed as a Letter Carrier for the US Postal Service for 36 ½ years, retiring in 2005.

Charles is survived by his wife Joan A. Secoges; sons, Charles J. Secoges Jr., of Muhlenberg Township; John A. Secoges, husband of Judi C. (Bednar), of Sinking Spring; and grandson, Joshua N. Secoges.

Charles was predeceased by his brother Joseph Secoges and sister Mary Sanza.
