Charlotte M. Hanley

Charlotte M. Hanley, 96, formerly of Cumru Township, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 5, 2025 at The Orwigsburg Center. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard B. Hanley.

Born in Reading, on November 8, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Daisy (Burkhart) Mohn. Charlotte worked as a Candy Packer for RM Palmer in Reading for 27 years, until retiring in 1995. She enjoyed watching game shows and completing word search puzzles.

Charlotte is survived by her son, Richard J. Hanley, husband of Janelle S. Hanley, of Auburn; daughter, Debra A. Bohn, of Lake Wynonah; grandchildren, Brandon Hanley, Brooke Hanley, Bradley Valentino, Brian Bohn; and 7 great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her siblings, Lillian Schrader, Florence Mell and Lester Mohn.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Bean Funeral Homes 129 E. Lancaster Ave. Shillington, PA 19607 on Thursday, October 9, 2025 at 11:00am. Amy S.
