Charlotte E. Moore

Charlotte E. Moore (Moyer), 93, of Wyomissing, passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2024, at Country Meadows, Wyomissing. She was the loving wife to Thomas P. Moore Jr. for over 73 years of marriage. Born in Reading, Charlotte was the daughter of the late Warren S. Moyer and Bessie M. (Nizart).

Charlotte took pride in managing her household. She was active in the Northmont community and playground, remembered relatives and friends with birthday cards and her famous home-baked birthday cakes, and cherished life-long friendships with high school girlfriends in the ‘Feather Club”. She learned to drive and ski at a later age and was active in a bowling league for many years. There was no one better at playing scrabble or completing weekly crossword puzzles.

She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Charlotte was generous to her family and friends, dedicating her time and resources to all who knew her. She truly set an example of a life well-lived.

In addition to her husband Thomas, Charlotte is survived by her children, Marcia L. Moore, widow of Erwin Colon, of Reading, Kathy L. Good, wife of Jeffrey, of Sinking Spring, Terry Moore Fealtman, wife of Michael J. Fealtman Sr., of Reading, her grandchildren, Ashley Kaufman, Peter Good, Alex Good, Jeffrey Loeper, LeeAnn Thompson, Michael Fealtman Jr. and 17 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, May Ream, and Dorothy Rhoads, wife of Jerry, sister-in-law, Barbara Moyer, as well as nephew, David W. Moore, wife of Kathy.

Charlotte is predeceased by her siblings, Miriam Williams and W. Earl Moyer.

Funeral service for Charlotte will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at 11:00 AM in Bean Funeral Home, 3825 Penn Ave. Sinking Spring, PA 19608. Interment to follow in Alsace Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and guests in Bean Funeral Home, Sinking Spring, on Saturday, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
