Christine A. Reitz

Christine A. “Tiny” (Turner) Reitz, 87, of Kenhorst, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2026 at 3:10 pm at Reading Hospital. She was the wife of the late Richard E. Reitz who passed away December 1, 2023. Born in Reading, Chris was the daughter of the late Francis R. and Laura (Sambrotta) Turner. She was a member of Saint John Baptist de la Salle Roman Catholic Church and graduated from Reading High School. She was a member of Good Shepherd UCC Senior Group, People Over 50 Club, CD&B Senior Group, and volunteered at Reading Ministries, American Red Cross and Camp Fire Girls. Chris is survived by her daughter Marie A. Moser wife of Todd C. Moser of Oley; her grandson Ryan Fretz; step-grandchildren Ben Moser husband of Aubrey Moser; Randy Miley, Christina Reitz and her step-great grandchildren Olivia, Maddox, Nathan. She is also survived by her brother Francis Turner of Wyomissing. Chris was preceded in death by her son Richard B. Reitz husband of Stephanie (Miley) Reitz of Audubon; her grandson Brad Fretz and her sister Maryellen Turner.

Funeral Service will be held at Bean Funeral Home 129 East Lancaster Ave. Shillington, Tuesday March 31, 2026 at 11:00 am. Deacon F. Joseph Lombardo will officiate. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family at Gethsemane Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends at Bean Funeral Home Tuesday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in memory of Christine A. Reitz.
