Clarence Wise, Jr

Clarence "Roxy" Wise, Jr. 83, passed away February 12, 2011 at 2:17 pm in The Reading Hospital & Medical Center. He was the husband of Nancy G. (Rissmiller) Wise. Born in Mohnton he was the son of the late Clarence and Pearl (Epler) Wise. Mr. Wise was a graduate of Mohnton High School and served in the United States Navy during peacetime. He was employed as a supervisor for Reading Metals for 25 years then as a fabricator for Boyertown Body Works for 10 years. He was a 32 year member of Spring Valley Church of God and a Deacon for 10 years, as well as a life time member of Patriotic Order of Sons of America. In addition to his wife he is survived by a son Craig Wise of Detroit, Michigan, daughters Donna Hammond of Reading and Scarlet Witman of Reading, step son Michael D. Schaeffer of Fleetwood, 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren as well as his sister Dorothy George of Mohnton. He was preceded in death by a grandson as well as his step daughter Kim J. Boone in 2008.
