Claude R. Oldt, 91, of Lower Heidelberg Township, passed away Wednesday February 18, 2026. He was married to Marlene P. Oldt and with whom celebrated 66 years of marriage. Born in Easton, Claude was the son of the late Claude A. and Ann (Hottenstein) Oldt. He was a 1952 graduate of Wilson High School and graduate in 1961 from University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Finance and Accountants. Claude was a member of Saint Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church and served in the United States Army. He was an Executive Vice President at Bank of Pennsylvania in Reading until his retirement. His civic involvement includes United Way, President of Camp Fire Girls, Past President and Past Zone Chairman of Lions Club, Stonier Graduate School of Banking-Delaware Valley Group Alumni President, Berks County Bankers Association. In addition to his wife Claude is survived by his children Michael S. Oldt husband of Patricia M. Oldt of Paoli; Karen L. Lewis wife of Daniel B. Lewis of Sinking Spring; Cynthia M. Schneiderhan wife of Mark E. Schneiderhan of Sinking Spring and his 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his 2 sisters.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church 2600 St. Albans Drive, Sinking Spring, Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at 11:00 am. Reverend John Pendzick, Celebrant. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family. The family will receive relatives and friends at Saint Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church Tuesday from 10:00 am to 10:45 am. Military Honors will be rendered by the United States Army Honor Guard following Mass of Christian Burial. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Saint Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church Memorial Fund 2810 St. Albans Drive, Sinking Spring, PA 19608 in memory of Mr. Claude R. Oldt.
