Clement S. Ziolkowski, 89, formerly of Wyomissing, passed away Saturday, July 11, 2026 at 5:00 am at Reading Hospital. He was the husband of Nancy M. (Buck) Ziolkowski. Born in Reading, Mr. Ziolkowski was the son of the late Clement C. and Genevieve W. (Waszkiewicz) Ziolkowski. He was a 1954 graduate of Reading High School where he excelled in soccer and baseball, playing first base, as the MVP for the Red Knights. After high school, he was signed to a minor league contract playing baseball for many years. He was a member of Saint Stephens Polish National Catholic Church and served in the United States Naval Reserves. Mr. Ziolkowski was employed as a Regional Manager at Branch Motor Express until his retirement.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons Rodger M. Ziolkowski of Wyomissing; Andrew T. Ziolkowski husband of Michelle M. Ziolkowski of Cumru Township and his grandchildren Angela (Ziolkowski) Lindsey, wife of Jake; Stephanie (Ziolkowski) Warfield, wife of Anthony; Claire R. Ziolkowski; Kathryn E. Ziolkowski; M. Bailey Ziolkowski; and Owen H. Ziolkowski. Mr. Ziolkowski is also survived by his siblings Daniel Ziolkowski husband of Sandra Ziolkowski of Exeter Township; Duane Ziolkowski of Reading; Carol McKee of Robesonia and Victoria Cucura of Reading. He was preceded in death by his son Michael S. Ziolkowski in 2000, and his wife Tina (Ferlazzo) Ziolkowski in 2024.
Clement was a life-long baseball and softball player and coach. He played for Bob Hoffman’s York Barbell world-class softball team and was the coach of the West Lawn Owl’s Junior Legion baseball team, as an original developer of the Berks Junior Legion League.
Funeral Service will be held at Bean Funeral Home 3825 Penn Ave. Sinking Spring Tuesday, July 21, 2026 at 10:00 am. The Very Reverend Donald E. Wunderlich will officiate. Interment will follow at Saint Stephens Polish National Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends at Bean Funeral Home Tuesday from 9:00 am to 10:00 am.
