Clement S. Ziolkowski, 89, of Reading, PA, passed away Saturday, July 11, 2026, at 5:00 am at Reading Hospital. He was the husband of Nancy M. (Buck) Ziolkowski. Born in Reading, Clement was the son of Clement C. Ziolkowski and Genevieve W. (Waszkiewicz) Ziolkowski previously of Reading, PA. Clement was a member of Saint Steven’s Polish National Catholic Church, Kenhorst, PA. He was a 1956 graduate of Reading High School, where is excelled in Soccer and Baseball, playing first base, as the team MVP for the Red Knights. After high school, he was signed to a minor league contract playing baseball for several years. He was also a member of the United States Naval Reserve.
He was employed as a manager and executive in the trucking industry, mainly with Branch Motor Express, Reading, PA, as the Eastern Regional Director. In addition to his wife, Clement is survived by his children Rodger M. Ziolkowski of Wyomissing; Andrew T. Ziolkowski and his wife Michelle (Pharand) Ziolkowski of Brecknock Township. He is predeceased by a son, Michael S. Ziolkowski and his wife Tina (Ferlazzo) Ziolkowski. He is also survived by his grandchildren Angela (Ziolkowski) Lindsey, wife of Jake; Stephanie (Ziolkowski) Warfield, wife of Anthony; Claire R. Ziolkowski; Kathryn E. Ziolkowski; Michael Bailey Ziolkowski, and Owen H. Ziolkowski.
Clement was a life-long baseball and softball player and coach. He played for Bob Hoffman’s York Barbell world class softball team and was the coach of the West Lawn Owl’s Junior Legion team, as an original developer of the Berks Junior Legion league.
Funeral Service will be held at Bean Funeral Home 3825 Penn Ave. Sinking Spring Tuesday, July 21, 2026 at 10:00 am. The Very Reverend Donald E. Wunderlich will officiate. Interment will follow at Saint Stephens Polish National Catholic Church Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends at Bean Funeral Home Tuesday from 9:00 am to 10:00 am.
