Clyde Loy Feick, 92, of Exeter Township, PA, passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2026. Born in Birdsboro, PA to the late Leroy Christian Feick and Pauline Eve Berkley Feick. He was preceded by his wife Joan Marie, (Adams) and brothers Floyd, Morris, Melvin and Nelson, half brother Robert Pearson and half siter Doris Pearson Bascelli.

Clyde is survived by his two children, David M. Feick, husband of Dr. Judy, Newark, DE and Dr. Ann Marie, wife of Nicholas Bybel Jr, Lancaster PA and five grandchildren, Dr. Megan Feick, John Feick, Alexandra Bybel Sipe, Victoria Bybel Deist, and Nicholas Bybel III. He is also survived by brothers Dr. Ray husband of Fay, Gilbertsville, PA, Roy, husband of Pat, Birdsboro PA and sister Fern Feick Rudloff, Mohnton PA, seven great grandchildren who know him as G-PA and many nieces and nephews.

Clyde graduated in 1951 from Birdsboro High School. He was an athlete like most of his brothers, playing basketball into in 20s. He was a mechanic and pinsetter repairman for over 30 years at Laurel Lanes Bowling Alley in Muhlenberg Township, PA. He also repaired pinsetters at many local fire halls, Amvets and Albright College. He was an avid league bowler his whole life, including a senior league team with his three brothers, Roy, Ray and Melvin. Clyde also worked as an assistant electrician for his brother-in-law Leroy “Red” Moyer and worked for Mr. Koch to maintain the water reservoir for the Jacksonwald area and read the indoor water meters. Clyde was a member of the Schwarzwald Cemetery Association for over 20 years and provided many of the property duties for the cemetery and for burials.

Clyde was a faithful servant. He was a former member of St. Marks Lutheran Church in Birdsboro and helped clear the trees for the building of their current sanctuary. Clyde broke his leg when a tree fell in the wrong direction during the clearing. He and Joan became members of the Schwarzwald Lutheran Church since its inception in 1962. He was on the usher and property committees and supplied the home-made cherry wine for Holy Thursday services for many years.

Clyde enjoyed the outdoors. He liked to garden, fish, hunt and ride snowmobiles and motorcycles. He made home-made wine, sauerkraut and occasionally apple cider with his brother Ray. He enjoyed playing pinochle, quoits, and horseshoes with his extended family, especially at the Feick family events.

Funeral service for Clyde will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Schwartzwald Lutheran Church, 250 Church Lane Road, Reading, PA 19606, viewing to be held prior from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Clyde’s memory to Schwarzwald Lutheran Church.
