Connie H. Christian

Connie H. Christian, 86, formerly of Bloomsburg, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 24, 2025, at Berkshire Commons, Reading, PA. She was the wife of the late John F. Christian, who passed away on June 28, 2016. Born in York, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Vaughn W. Carson and Helen M. (Illick) Carson. Connie was a graduate of Scott High School Class of 1956. She went on to attend Bloomsburg State College, where she received her BS in Education in 1959. She lastly graduated with her Master's Degree from the University of Utah in 1974. For 35 remarkable years, Connie illuminated young minds as a math teacher, sharing her passion across various states, including Michigan, Utah, and Pennsylvania, with her final chapter at Central Columbia High School, where she retired in 1993. Connie and her husband, John, embarked on extraordinary adventures around the world, exploring wonders in Egypt, China, Tibet, Peru, and Australia. Connie also visited all 50 states and for 20 years made annual trips to Sedona, Arizona.

She is survived by her daughter, Michelle V. Cobb, and her significant other, Darryl Smale, of Birdsboro; and stepson John G. Christian, husband of Christine Christian, of Michigan.
