Cynthia Kaye Blemaster (nee Lesher), age 74, passed away suddenly December 3, 2025 at her home in the Lake Hiawatha section of Parsippany-Troy Hills, NJ.
Born and raised in Reading, PA to the late Eugene Richard and Dorothy (nee Hutzulak) Lesher, Ms. Blemaster had lived in New Jersey for over 30 years, the last 10 being in Lake Hiawatha.
She was a graduate of Muhlenberg High School and earned her Medical Secretarial Degree from Reading Business Institute, both of Reading, PA.
In her younger years, Ms. Blemaster had worked as a waitress at the Plaza Dairyland and the Exeter Restaurant, both in Pennsylvania. After earning her degree, she became a medical secretary at the offices of Dr. Bialas in West Reading, PA. and subsequently worked with the office of Dr. Bonnie Kazan in Morristown, NJ for numerous years before her retirement. More recently, Cindy was a familiar face at the Spa Restaurant in Lake Hiawatha, where she had been a well-liked waitress for several years.
Cynthia was a passionate dog lover. Her first love was Doberman Pinschers but she also bred, raised and trained Yorkshire Terriers and German Shepherds. One of her beloved Yorkies was featured in the "American Kennel Club Complete Dog Book for Kids." She was a trainer at the Top Dog Obedience School in Flanders, NJ and her dogs won countless American Kennel Club Ribbons over the years in obedience competitions.
She is survived by her brother, Wayne D. Lesher and his wife, Susan of Bernville, PA; her sister, Rosyln Foust and her husband, John of Mercer, PA; and eight nieces and nephews, Scott Lesher, Avery Lesher, Damen Black, Stephanie Black, Adam Black, James Black, Adrian Black, and John Foust Jr. She will also be missed by her beloved pups. She was preceded in death by her brothers Richard and Timothy Lesher
Memorial Service will be held at Bean Funeral Homes & Crematory 3825 Penn Ave. Sinking Spring, Saturday, December 13, 2025 at 11:30 am. Reverend Steve Hollinger will officiate. The family will receive relatives and friends at Bean Funeral Homes & Crematory Saturday from 10:00 am to 11:30 am.
