Daniel A. Kundrat

Daniel (Dan) Kundrat, 24 of Robesonia, PA passed away suddenly on July 30, 2025. Born in Reading, PA he was the son of Rick Kundrat and Bonnie L Weaver. He is survived by his parents, his brother John Tyler Kundrat, his sister Kate Kundrat and her fiancé Emmanuel Santiago.

Dan lived his life with passion, excitement and drive. He was creative, resourceful, funny and had a big heart. His love and enthusiasm touched everyone he met.

Dan was born with an innate ability to lead and a drive to just do. In fact we used to call him “Danny Do.” He had vision for the future and what he wanted and just got busy doing whatever it took to get it done. This determination lead first to earning his Eagle Scout rank in Boy Scouts. Then moved to starting up a small business for detailing cars, powder coating parts and doing vinyl wraps for cars. While working on this side business, Dan also worked full time at ECI cables. Ever the visionary, Dan learned the business well and in 2023 he took over as president of the company. In the next year Dan took the company from operating in the red to a profitable business. At the beginning of 2025 Dan became the owner of ECI cables. Dan loved the challenge of running his business, but more than that he loved the people; those who worked for him and those whom he did business with.

Dan’s heart more than anything, was for people. He loved his siblings well. Spending time traveling with his brother Tyler to various concerts and always goofing around and getting into some adventure with his sister Kate.

Dan’s friends, of whom there were many, were a constant source of fun and encouragement to him. Dan was a loyal and generous friend. He would drop anything he was doing to help them or anyone for that matter, and he gave of himself freely to them.

Dan’s girlfriend Lily Johnson of Macungie was a constant source of joy in his life. He always wanted to improve and grow in how he cared for her because he knew she deserved the best of him. Together they learned to live well, love well and to challenge each other to strive to be better.

Most importantly, Dan was a man of quiet faith in Jesus Christ. Though his faith was quiet inside, it came out with a great passion for loving others with humility and kindness.

Dan wanted always to encourage others to persevere through hard things and for them to grow to be their best selves. This wasn’t just talk. He lived this daily. Dan faced his own struggles as a teen, but after losing a good friend he determined to change his trajectory. He didn’t just change physically, but also mentally, spiritually and emotionally. True to his “Just do” self, he was naturally successful at this challenge too.

A funeral service will be held in honor of Dan at Calvary Bible Fellowship Church, located at 4891 Penn Avenue, Sinking Spring, PA 19608, on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive relatives and friends at the church from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Burial will be held Privately.
