Darlene Fields

Darlene J. "Dolly" Fields, 61, of Reading, passed away Thursday, February 5, 2009 at 9:00 p.m. at Manor Care Sinking Spring after a valiant battle with cancer.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Bruce Fields and Helen (Roehrig) Visner Underkoffler of Reading.

She was a former volunteer for Berks Advocates Against Violence.

She is survived by her son: Frank A., husband of Jennifer Fields of Wyomissing; a daughter: Helen E. Fields, with whom Mrs. Fields resided.

There is also a granddaughter: Madison Lynn, and grandkittens: Stormy and Trixx.

She is also survived by her stepfather: Clyde Underkoffler; sisters: Nanette (Visner) Witmer of Wyomissing, Carole "Cookie" (Fields) Kunke of Colorado, Lori (Fields) Knoll of Reading; a brother: John Fields of Berks Co; a stepsister: Linda Mauck of Harrisburg, and stepbrother: Bruce Underkoffler of Virginia.
