Dawn L. Heffner

Dawn L. Heffner, 83, of West Lawn, passed away Friday, April 5, 2024 at 8:00 am at Reading Hospital.  She was the wife of Harvey H. Heffner, Jr.  Born in Reading, Mrs. Heffner was the daughter of the late Charles and Grace (Miller) Burkhardt.  She was a hairdresser employed by various salons in the Reading area and was a member of West Lawn United Methodist Church.  In addition to her husband, Mrs. Heffner is survived by her sons Michael S. Heffner husband of Carol A. White of Lititz and Greg C. Heffner husband of Ann Heffner of Ephrata and her granddaughters Christen Heffner and Rebecca Deckman and her great grandchildren Ember, John, Lainie, Jaden.

Funeral Service will be held at Bean Funeral Home 3825 Penn Ave. Sinking Spring, Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at 10:00 am.   Interment will follow at Berks County Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive relatives and friends at Bean Funeral Home Wednesday from 9:00 am to 10:00 am.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to West Lawn United Methodist Church Penn & Woodside Aves.
