Dennis W. Dendler

Dennis W. Dendler, 88, of Elizabethtown, formerly of Womelsdorf, passed away on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at Masonic Village at Elizabethtown, Health Care Center. He was the loving husband to Carolyn I. (Kirlin) Dendler, for over 45 years of marriage. Born in Columbia County, PA, Dennis was the son of the late, Harry Stenger, and Mary H. (Dendler) Gebhart.

Dennis was a member of Reading Lodge 549 F&AM and Williamson Lodge #307 F&AM and Reading Chapter 251 and Chapter 449 of The Order of The Eastern Star. He served as past Master of the Masons and Secretary O.E.S. and Past Patron. He also served on the church council and taught Sunday School at Advent Lutheran Church, in West Lawn.

In addition to his wife Carolyn, Dennis is survived by his children Julie Almanrode of Cooper Landing, Alaska, Brad Dendler, of Wilkes County, North Carolina, Dawn Steimer, of Millsboro Delaware and Stepson, J. Douglass Stettenbauer of Columbia, PA. He is also survived by his 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Dennis is predeceased by his wife Bonnie (Miller) Dendler, of Mt. Wolfe, York County, PA and brother, Lester Gebhart of Lowell, Massachusetts.
