Donald F. Gunzelmann

Donald F. Gunzelmann, 81, of Exeter Township, passed away Thursday, June 13, 2024 at 11:00 am in his residence. He was the husband of Carol A. (Renninger) Gunzelmann. Born in Hartford, Connecticut, Mr. Gunzelmann was the son of the late Frederick L. and Dorothy E. (Hyatt) Gunzelmann. He was a member of Schwarzwald Lutheran Church and was employed by the Pottstown Mercury as a newspaper production manager. Mr. Gunzelmann served in the United States Navy. He took great pride in keeping his home and lawn groomed. In addition to his wife, Mr. Gunzelmann is survived by his children Darren D. Gunzelmann of West Lawn; Dennis E. Gunzelmann husband of Michelle Gunzelmann of Linfield, PA; Glenn F. Gunzelmann husband of Holly Truckermiller  of Beaver Creek, OH; step-sons Gregory A. Werstler of Chicago, IL and Peter S. Werstler of Lombard, IL and his 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. Mr. Gunzelmann is also survived by his sister Linda Cullinane of NJ.

Celebration of Life Service will be held at Schwarzwald Lutheran Church, 250 Church Lane, Exeter Township, Monday, June 24, 2024 at 11:00 am. The family will receive relatives and friends at Schwarzwald Lutheran Church Monday from 9:30 am to 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the charity of one's  choice in memory of Mr. Donald F. Gunzelmann.
