Donald L. Strause

Donald L. Strause, 94, passed away Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at 1:00 am at Reading Hospital. He was the husband of Shirley A. (Heller) Strause to whom he was married for 71 years. Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Raymond G. and Emma A. (Einsel) Strause. Donald served in the United States Navy and was a long-time employee of Wilson Safety Products and retired following several years at Advanced Tool and Design. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children Donald L. Strause, Jr. husband of Theresa Strause of Leesport; Jody L. Pastor wife of Jan Pastor of Bentonville, Arkansas; and Kristin J. Goodwin wife of Kevin Goodwin of Wernersville with whom he last resided. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Graveside Service will be held at the convenience of the family at Forest Hills Memorial Park with Military Honors rendered by the United States Navy Honor Guard.
