Dorothy Mueller

Dorothy L. "Dolly" Mueller, 80, of Cumru Twp., passed away on Thursday, March 4, 2010 at Wyomissing Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Earl B. Miller and S. Ruth (Kramer) Miller.

She was the wife of Herbert J. Mueller. The couple shared 59 wonderful years of marriage.

She was a 1947 graduate of Wyomissing High School, and worked as an operator for Bell Telephone until 1950.

She was a past President of the former Ladies Auxiliary at the Reading Hospital, and logged over 5,000 hours as a volunteer. She turned a hobby of baking wedding cakes for friends and family into a nice side business.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons: Daron K. Mueller, husband of Terri Mueller of Reading; and Timothy Mueller, husband of Vicki Mueller of Reinholds.

There are also four grandchildren: Christopher, Zachary, Daniel, and Andrew.

She is also survived by a sister: Kathryn (Miller) Richards of Bensalem, and a brother: C. Robert Broderick; and nieces and nephews.
