    Dorothy Ann (Spayd) Linette, 86, of Wyomissing, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, in the Reading Hospital, surrounded by family.  Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Dorothy (Seeds) and Samuel W. Spayd.  Dorothy was the loving wife of James P. Linette, Jr., who passed away on March 1, 2006.  She was a graduate of Womelsdorf High School.  Dorothy worked as a flight attendant for Capital Airlines before marrying James and starting her family.  She was a member of Bausman Memorial United Church of Christ.  She loved traveling to many destinations with one highlight being her and James flying on the Concorde. She enjoyed aviation so much that she made many visits to Klingers restaurant at the Reading Airport.  She also loved to spend time with her family.  
    Dorothy is survived by her children, Scott R. Linette, of Lake Worth, Florida and Ann Marie Noecker (wife of Steven) of Sinking Spring.  She is also survived by 2 stepchildren, Jeffrey Linette (husband of Bonnie), and Richard Linette (husband of Kim), 12 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren.  In addition to her husband, Dorothy was predeceased by her brother, Richard Spayd, and 2 stepchildren, Cynthia Alfiero and James P. Linette, III (husband of Cate Linette), and a step grandson, Christian Alfiero.
    Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Bausman Memorial United Church of Christ.  Bean Funeral Home, Sinking Spring is in charge of arrangements and online condolences may be made at www.beanfuneralhomes.com.
