Dwain M. Hayter

Dwain M. Hayter, 71, of Shillington, passed away Saturday, October 18, 2025 in his residence. He was the husband of Kathryn W. (Walker) Hayter. Born in Viroqua, Wisconsin, Mr. Hayter was the son of the late Bob and Artice (Anderson) Hayter. He was employed as a carpenter for Carpenters Union of Philadelphia until his retirement. In addition to his wife, Mr. Hayter is survived by his daughter Chole Hayter wife of Justin Wansley of Washington, D.C. and his stepchildren Kaylin N. Weir wife of Scott R. Weir of Arlington, Virginia and Dr. Cary S. Politzer husband of Dr. Michelle Tang of Washington D.C. and his grandchildren Isla and Rhys. Mr. Hayter was preceded in death by his brothers Gary and Danny Hayter.

Memorial Service will be held at Bean Funeral Homes & Cremation Services 129 East Lancaster Ave. Shillington, Saturday, November 15, 2025 at 10:00 am. Pastor Chris Boyce will officiate. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family. The family will receive relatives and friends at Bean Funeral Homes & Cremation Services Saturday from 9:00 am to 10:00 am.
