Edith Hafer

Edith A. Hafer, 99, of Temple, passed away Thursday, November 22, 2018 at 1:00 am in Juniper Village at Brookline Skilled Nursing Center, State College. Mrs. Hafer was preceded in death by her first husband Herbert B. Seifert and her second husband John Hafer. Born in Host, PA, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Carrie (Ulrich) Moyer. Mrs. Hafer was a member of Alsace Lutheran Church and was a dress maker for David Crystal in Reading. She is survived by her son Elwood L. Seifert of Port Matilda, PA and her grandsons Paul and Joseph Seifert. Mrs. Hafer was preceded in death by her brother Lester Moyer.
Funeral Service will be held in Bean Funeral Home, North 16th & Rockland Streets, Hampden Heights, Thursday, November 29, 2018 at 11:00 am. Reverend Richard A. Nelson will officiate. Interment will follow in Laureldale Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends in Bean Funeral Home Thursday 10:00 to 11:00 am.
