Edward J. Mannello, 82, of Spring Township, passed away Monday, July 1, 2024 at 4:30 am in his residence. He was the husband of Regina “Jean” (Karwacki) Mannello, together they shared 60 years of marriage. Born in Danville, Mr. Mannello was the son of the late Charles and Pauline (DePaulis) Mannello. He was an active member of Saint Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church where he served as an usher. Mr. Mannello received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering from University of Pennsylvania. He was employed by Wyomissing Corp. as a chemical engineer for 24 years and then as a sales associate for Lindgren / Masano Car Dealerships for a number of years. In addition to his wife Mr. Mannello is survived by his children Edward P. Mannello husband of the late Erin Mannello of West Chester; Michelle L. Mannello spouse of Emily E. Fiocchi of Danville; Julie E. Mannello of Sutton, Alaska; his grandchildren Mikaila, Ashley, Jacob; his sister JoAnn Alexander of Reisterstown, Maryland and many brother and sister in-laws and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers Dominic and Charles.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church 2600 St. Alban’s Drive, Sinking Spring, Monday, July 8, 2024 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends at Saint Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church Monday from 10:00 am to 10:45 am. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Monsignor James A. Treston Scholarship Fund, c/o Saint Ignatius Loyola Church, 2810 St. Albans Drive, Sinking Spring, PA 19608 in memory of Mr. Edward J. Mannello.
