Edwin John Musser

Edwin John Musser, 79, of Muhlenberg Township, passed away Monday, September 16, 2024 at his residence. He is survived by his companion of over 50 years and with whom he last resided, Linda R. DeAngelis. Born in Reading, Mr. Musser was the son of the late LeRoy T. and Virginia (Rentchler) Musser. He was a 1964 graduate of Conrad Weiser High School and served in the United States Air Force retiring following 21 years of service. Mr. Musser retired from the Reading School District. Mr. Musser is also survived by his sister Betty D. Reynolds of Carbondale, PA and his nieces Virginia R. Barnes wife of Timothy Neville Barnes of Greenville, South Carolina and Doris L. Markert of Carbondale, PA. He was preceded in death by his sister Josephine G. May.

Funeral Service will be held at Bean Funeral Home 1605 Rockland Street, Hampden Heights, Monday, September 23, 2024 beginning at 11:30 am followed by interment with Military Honors rendered by the United States Air Force Honor Guard will follow at Berks County Memorial Gardens. The family will receive relative and friends at Bean Funeral Home Sunday, September 22, 2024 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm and Monday from 11:00 am to 11:30 am. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Bethany Children’s Home 1863 Bethany Road, Womelsdorf, PA 19567 in memory of Mr. Edwin John Musser.
