Elaine Louise Eshbach-Jarvis, 78, of Lancaster, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at The Hospice & Community Care in Mount Joy. She was the beloved wife and best friend of Michael “Mike” Jarvis.

Born in Reading, Pennsylvania, on February 18, 1947, Elaine was the daughter of the late Clarence E. Stufflet Jr. and Ellamay W. Stufflet (Wells). She worked for many years as a Pharmacy Technician with Save Mart and Neffsville Pharmacy and later found great joy caring for children as a nurturing nanny.

Elaine had a creative spirit and enjoyed crafts, photography, and poetry. She also had a deep love for animals and cherished her cats—Blossom, Poppy, and Little Bear.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Michael Jarvis, of Lancaster; her children, Eric J. Eshbach and his wife, Tamy, of Lancaster; Heather A. Eshbach and her wife, Amy Southall, of Lancaster; and Jason E. Eshbach and his wife, Amanda, of Delaware. Elaine also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Emerson, Samantha, Madison, Rowan, Brian, Sorra, Jason, and Jordan; her sister, Carol M. Engle, of Exeter Township; and several nieces and nephews.

Elaine was preceded in death by her sister, Rebecca A. Asman, who passed away in 2023.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Bean Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 129 E. Lancaster Ave., Shillington, PA 19607, with Amy S. Landis, Certified Celebrant, officiating. Family and friends will be received from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Elaine’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Pet Pantry of Lancaster County, 26 Millersville Road, Lancaster, PA 17602.
