Elizabeth A. Lydard

Elizabeth A. Lydard, 92, of Reading, passed away Saturday, June 7, 2025 at 7:15 am in her residence. She was the wife of the late Douglas R. Lydard who passed away May 22, 1973. Born in Reading, Mrs. Lydard was the daughter of the late Charles E. and Ethel M. (Steelman) Zellner. She was a member of Holy Spirit Lutheran Church, Reading and a graduate of Reading Senior High School. Mrs. Lydard is survived by her daughters Teresa A. Lydard of Reading; Elaine I. Nally of Reading; her grandchildren Christine C. MacBride wife of Phillip A. MacBride and William A. Colona and her great granddaughter Karly MacBride. She was preceded in death by her daughter Sandra L. Lydard who passed away October 30, 2009; her brothers Charles E. Zellner, Jr. and Donald Zellner and her sister Ethel M. Lynn.

Celebration of Life Service will be held at Bean Funeral Home 129 East Lancaster Ave. Shillington, Friday, June 13, 2025 at 11:00 am. Amy S. Landis, Celebrant will officiate. Interment will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends at Bean Funeral Home Friday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Day Spring Homes 250 South 12th Street, Reading, PA 19602 in memory of Mrs. Elizabeth A. Lydard.
