Elizabeth M. “Betty” Dierolf, 92, of West Lawn, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at Mifflin Court. She was the beloved wife of the late Bright H. Dierolf, who passed away on March 29, 2009.
Born on July 3, 1930, in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Walter L. and Dorothy M. (Bloch) Stone. During her life, she worked for Leininger Hosiery Mill in Mohnton as a Packer for 22 years and as a Dietary Worker at the Highlands of Wyomissing for 4 years, retiring in 1992. She was a member of the West Lawn Senior Citizens Club and West Lawn United Methodist Church.
Betty enjoyed playing bingo, fishing, crabbing, attending her grandkids sporting events, and listening to chimes when she sat outside. Above all she enjoyed being with her family all the time. Betty was a great wife, mother and grandmother and will be sincerely missed.
She is survived by her sons, Gil M. Dierolf, husband of Vicki L, of Brecknock Township; Mike R. Dierolf, husband of Nayda I., of Sinking Spring; Rick S. Dierolf, husband of Tyna Y. of Sinking Spring; daughter, Debbie M., wife of Brin Bossler, of Spring Township; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Betty was preceded in death by her grandsons, Jason M. Dierolf, Josh Dierolf and Brother, Harry Graul.
