Ernest W. Price, 64, of Cumru Twp., passed away May 13, 2009 at 10:28 PM in Reading Hospital & Medical Center where he was a patient for 1 day. He was the husband of Irene L. (Lucia) Price. Born in Fort Knox, Kentucky on December 20, 1944, he was the son of the late Ernest E. and Audrey L. (Nix) Price.
Mr. Price was a graduate of Kutztown University with a BS in Elementary Education. He served during peacetime in the military and attended Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness. Ernest was employed by Wachovia Bank until retiring in 2006. He was an avid collector of sci-fi and horror movies and memorabilia.
Surviving in addition to his wife is a son Evan W. Price at home.
