Erwin Funk, Jr

Erwin D. Funk, Jr. , 88, formerly of Sinking Spring, passed away June 3, 2010 at 8:40 pm in ManorCare Health Services, Inc., Spring Township a resident for 7 years. Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Erwin D. Funk, Sr. and Estelle(Bissey) Funk. Mr. Funk was a graduate of Perkiomen Prep and Albright College and was an accountant for Giorgio Mushroom Company in Temple. He served in the United States Army during WWII. He is survived by his sons, Erwin D. Funk, III of Montgomery, Texas, Stephen W. Funk of Lutz, Florida and Theodore W. Funk of Louisville, Kentucky along with 2 grandchilren. He is also survived by his sister Doris Cosgrove of Wyomissing.
