Esther Gombos

Esther S. Gombos, 86, of Spring Twp., passed away Thursday, December 24, 2009, at the Reading Hospital & Medical Center, where she had been a patient for 2 1/2 days.

Born in Stowe, PA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Selagy and Esther (Matyas) Selagy.

She worked as a Machinist for Kiwi Shoe Polish Company in Pottstown from 1962 to 1970, and later worked as a paper coder for SCM Corporation in Phoenixville for 15 years, retiring in 1985.

She is survived by her sons: A. Steven Gambos, husband of Lori Gambos of Spring Twp. and Matthew J. Gambos of Spring Twp.

There are also two grandchildren: Evan and Collin.

She is also survived by her brother: Frank Selagy of Kennet Square; and nephews: F. Randy Selagy, Dennis Selagy, and Harold Selagy.

In addition to her parents, she is pre deceased by a brother: Joseph, and a sister: Elizabeth (Gombos) Krause.
