Ezequiel Rios Gonzalez

Ezequiel Rios Gonzalez, 54, of Sinking Spring, passed away Friday, July 25, 2025 at 11:00 am at Reading Hospital.

Born on March 27, 1971 in Catano, Puerto Rico. He was the husband of Amarylis (Torres Rodriguez) Rios. Mr. Rios-Gonzalez was the son of Aida (Gonzalez) Rivera of Connecticut. He always worked in retail and was an expert in anything produce. Mr. Rios-Gonzalez was employed most recently as a produce manager at Russo’s Market in Wyomissing. Previously, he was employed at Price Rite in a similar role. Mr. Rios-Gonzalez was described as a loving, hard-working, family man by those who he had the pleasure of knowing. A very well known person in his community, he brought joy and happiness to every interaction. He enjoyed playing video games with his sons, going fishing in Blue Marsh, and going to amusement parks. He also, loved plants and birds, especially hummingbirds. He was of the Catholic Faith.

In addition to his wife and mother, Mr. Rios-Gonzalez is survived by his sons Anthony Vincent Rios (28) and Ezequiel Rios, Jr. (31) both at home; his siblings Daisy Rivera of New Jersey, Javier Rivera of East Stroudsburg, Ivette Rivera of Connecticut, Edwin Gonzalez of Brooklyn, New York, Ramon Rivera of New Jersey.

He will be deeply missed by friends and family.
