Fern Price

Fern L. Price, 94, formerly of Exeter Township, passed away Monday October 31, 2022 at 1:00 am at Berks Heim.  Born in Reading Ms. Price was the daughter of the late Mark S. and Beatrice D. (Hartranft) Price.  She was a member of Schwarzwald United Church of Christ and was employed by former Bell Atlantic for 43 years as a service representative until her retirement in 1990.  Ms. Price was preceded in death by her son Timothy E. Price who passed away July 21, 2022; her siblings Ruth Bower, Jean Taylor, Jere Price.    She is survived by her daughter-in-law Marcia A. (Maslar) Price of Exeter Township; sister-in-law Patrica Price of Flying Hills; niece Deborah Dietrich of Spring Township and nephew Mark Price of McCalisterville, PA.

Funeral Service will be held at Bean Funeral Home 1605 Rockland Street Hampden Heights Saturday, November 5, 2022 at 10:00 am.  Reverend John S. Dawson will officiate.  Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park.  The family will receive relatives and friends at Bean Funeral Home Saturday from 9:00 am to 10:00 am.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Animal Rescue League of Berks County 58 Kennel Road, Birdsboro, PA 19508 in memory of Ms. Fern L.
