Forrest Heck

Forrest H. Heck, 95, of Reading, passed away on Friday, October 17th, at 2:32 a.m. at the Reading Hospital and Medical Center, where had been a patient for less than a day.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Benjamin Heck and Elizabeth Snyder Heck, and wife of the late Isabelle D. (Green) Heck, who passed away on December 27, 1997.

He worked as a custodian and knitter for the City of Reading for 15 years, retiring in 1975. He was a member of the former Faith United Methodist Church in Reading.

He was a dog lover.

He is survived by step grandchildren, step great grandchildren, and nieces: Mona Tobias of Reading, and Dawn Graeff of Alameda, CA; and great nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and wife, he is pre deceased by a son: Forrest H. Heck, Jr.; stepson: Donald F. Smith of Bernville; sister: Marion E. Graeff, and stepbrothers: Orval E. and Harold P. Shultz.
