George E. Kauffman, Jr.

George E. Kauffman, Jr., 71, of St. Lawrence, passed away on July 25, 2026 in his residence.

George is survived by his loving wife Joyce, with whom he shared 52 years of marriage. He will be deeply missed by his son, Eric L. Kauffman, and his daughter, Laurie A. Kauffman, both of whom carry forward his values and loving spirit. George is survived by his sisters, Deborah Boone and Linda Curry. He was also blessed with 4 grandchildren: Jaden, Brinley, Eli and Jillian.

In addition, he is predeceased by his father, George E. Kauffman, Sr., his mother, Ruth G. (Reitz) Kauffman, and his sister Shirley Blatt. His parents' love shaped his early years, and the relationship he shared with his late sister became a treasured memory.

George loved traveling to the beach and island destinations. Boating, fishing and hunting were special times along with taking care of his home and loved ones.

George's legacy is one of unwavering love for his family, loyalty to friends, and dedication to his church. His enduring love and strength has been instilled in those he left behind. His memory will continue to inspire, comfort and guide his family and friends.

A visitation in George’s honor will be held on August 14, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Zion’s Spies Evangelical Reformed Church 318 Spies Church Road, Reading, PA. 19606 with memorial service to follow. This gathering offers an opportunity to pay respects, share memories and celebrate the life of a man whose presence made an impact on so many.
