Georgia J. Marabella

Georgia J. Marabella, 80, of Gilbertsville, formerly of Reading, passed away on Sunday, December 14, at Pottstown Hospital. She was the loving wife to Santo Marabella for 20 years, before his passing on July 23, 1986. Born in Reading, Georgia was the daughter of the late, Edgar Palmer and Mary (Cataldi). Georgia attended Central Catholic High School and went on to work in the Food Service Department for the Reading School District.

She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Fasig, wife of Martin, of Gilbertsville, her grandsons, Brandon and Martin Jr. as well as her 3 great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, Georgia is predeceased by her sister, Nancy Thomas, and brother, Edgar Palmer.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, December 19, 2025, at 11:00 AM in The Chapel of Resurrection, Gethsemane Cemetery, 3139 Kutztown Road, Reading, PA 19605. Father Robert George, Celebrant. Interment to follow in Gethsemane Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Georgia’s memory to, St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
